We have successfully completed projects across the Asian water, wastewater and bioenergy industries.
On project completion we provide our clients with the knowledge, product advice, training and expert recommendations to assist them with the future running of their plants.
The biogas plant will be owned by BBC Biogas Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of BBC Holdings Sdn Bhd, based in Bintulu. BIODOME ASIA have designed, supplied and constructed a 10,000m³ glass-fused-to-steel digester tank complete with a BIODOME® Double Membrane Gas Holder Roof and a smaller 1,800m³ digester tank with a BIODOME® Single Membrane Roof.
This is a first for KIRK GROUP, adding to the existing number of landmark projects recently completed. The site is a biogas plant treating palm oil mill effluent (POME) for the Angle Eastern Plantations. Working closely with them and Future NRG, BIODOME ASIA completed the three largest roofs ever to be installed by the Group, each measuring approximately 23metres wide, 35metres long and 6metres high. The project also included a glass-fused-to-steel digester with a BIODOME® roof. The erection of the GFS digester as well as the roofs for the in-ground lagoons was completed in just two weeks from starting on-site.
The end user, KLK Group, a public listed company working in the plantation and oleo-chemical business, is the third largest producer of palm oil in Malaysia, Working with project developer Oiltek Nova Bioenergy, a well known POME Biogas process designer in the region, BIODOME ASIA designed, supplied and installed a total of three Anaerobic Digestion Tanks complete with the industry-leading BIODOME® Double Membrane Roof. The project also consisted of a smaller digestion tank with an externally supported roof.
